Hard as it is to believe, and I hate to break it to you, but some people don't love dogs. Both unbelievable AND true. So if you're selling your doggy's home, you'll be smart to hide her and every sign of her including chew toys, furniture she used for chew toys, food bowls, doggie beds, hair, fleas and - most important - dog smell. And make sure there aren't any surprises in the back yard when buyers walk through their new backyard.
Last thing....and this is one of my favorite tricks......install a doggie bed inside a dead space in the wall and make sure there's a doggie door out the side door. Even if your buyer isn't the dog lover like we are, she'll appreciate this genius addition!
